The position of Business Development Support will report to Business Development Manager. The position’s main objective will be to provide support in the tasks undertaken by the Business Division, which includes activities such as market analysis, Funders prospecting and negotiation of MEDSIR new opportunities in the pre-established time frames.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Propose, establish, and maintain relationships with an extended network of potential funders for clinical development strategy.
• Identify and study new companies that could need clinical development strategy, examining risks and potential of future collaborations, and estimating partners' needs and goals.
• Propose, establish, and maintain relationships with Venture Capital investors in the field of healthcare, examining risks and potential of their investment model, and estimating their needs and goals.
• Propose, establish, and maintain relationships with other stakeholders in independent clinical research, such as Private Foundations or Public Funds.
• Lead the early development of independent clinical studies by contacting potential partners, coordinating the generation of an initial proposal, and conducting relevant negotiations with all involved stakeholders.
• Provide support in the design, development, and present scientific, operational, and market-based documentation, including abstracts, posters, protocols, presentations, market analysis reports, articles, etc.
• Collaborate in specific forums, media, and publications to position the company's branding highlighting the added value and differential.
• Collaborate with the Trial Division and Scientific Division providing support and guidance when needed.   

💪WHAT DO WE VALUE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

• A university degree in a health-related field.
• Experience and knowledge in Business Development in Life Sciences or related services, preferably in the field of oncology.
• Have exposure/understanding of the drug and clinical development process, preferably in the field of oncology is desirable.
• Experience in and knowledge of licensing partnerships and co-development agreements is desirable.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including life sciences companies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Fluent English
